CHOCOLATE CAKE WITH ROSES
PRODUCTS:
260 g “Rosey’s mark” chocolate (dark and/or milk)
4 eggs
1 espresso (40 ml)
1/8 teaspoon vanilla seeds or 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
½ cup coconut sugar
¼ cup honey
¼ teaspoon salt
dried rose petals and salt flakes to sprinkle on top
PREPARATION METHOD:
- In a bowl, melt the chocolate using the water bath method.
- Add the coffee, sugar, honey, vanilla and salt and stir.
- Stir the eggs using a mixer for about 3 minutes, till fluffy.
- Gradually start adding the chocolate mixture to the eggs, till fully absorbed.
- Prepare a 20-24 cm baking dish with removable ring walls.
- Cover the baking dish bottom with baking paper and grease the walls.
- Pour the cake mixture in and sprinkle with rose petals and salt flakes on top.
- Preheat the oven to 180°С and bake for about 40 minutes.
