Rose-flavoured coconut bonbons
A guilt-free dessert at home
- 9.January.2021

Hello and welcome to our rose-flavoured world at the beginning of a new year full of hope for more calm, more healthy and better days ahead.
It’s time for another symbolic new start and a wonderful moment to embrace the possibility to change for better. It is not by coincidence that the most common themes of the first month of the year are related to new chance, restart and cleaning. Typically, in January many of us have goals related spesificaly to body cleaning and detox which is often related to diets or specific food regimes avoiding some exuberances, certain ingredients or whole groups of food. And now think of a world where the so wanted body cleaning happens while the willingness for something sweet doesn’t bring guilt but pure joy. To make this wish come true this January we have chosen to share an amazing and well-tested recipe for coconut bonbons by Mihaela Beloreshka, and with a rose tinge.
So, next time you think “just one bonbon…”, next time you’re in need of sweet delight, energy and some pink mood but you also would love to avoid too much sugar or milk, make sure you have these in your fridge:
COCONUT BONBONS WITH ROSE WATER AND CHOCOLATE
PRODUCTS:
for 14-20 bonbons
200 g coconut flakes
200 g coconut cream
2 tablespoons Rosey’s mark rose water
2 tablespoons honey or other sweetener
1 tablespoon beetroot powder
80 g Rosey’s mark dark chocolate with roses
RECIPE:
1. Melt the coconut cream with water bath, adding the honey, the beetroot powder and the rose water.
2. In a bowl, mix the melted mixture with the coconut flakes and stir well till you get even in texture and colour mixture.
3. Using an icecream ball maker (or a silicone bonbons mold) shape semispheres and place on a cutting board (or on a plat plate) covered with foil. Let cool in freezer for 20 minutes.
4. Meanwhile, melt the chocolate with water bath.
5. Dip half of the bonbons in the chocolate and decorate with dried rose petals.
6. Let cool in fridge for another 5 minutes.
And here is the best part – you can keep the ready bonbons in fridge and enjoy them one by one for a whole month. How cool is that!
