Flavoured water with rose water
Hydrate your body like a pro with those 3 recipes
- 6.August.2021
Summer is the season everybody puts more accent on the need of good body hydration. It’s not that during other seasons hydration is less important but due to the increased body loss of water in hot weather conditions. Good hydration gives us better overall tonus, better brain function, helps get rid of toxins, helps prevent headaches and supports our immune system. But how many of us manage to drink the recommendable daily amounts of water, which is 30 ml for each kilogram of body weight. That would make 1.5 litters of water daily for a woman weighting 50 kg or 2.7 litters for a man weighting 90 kg.
TRICKS FOR BETTER HYDRATION:
Of course, the easiest way to hydrate our body is to drink the amount of water our body needs. And to achieve those glasses of water needed, it’s enough to start using a couple of simple tricks.
First, start looking after the exact amount of water you drink during the day. Just choose a nice multi-usage bottle and start refilling it during the day, as simple as that.
And our second and favourite ‘drink more water’ trick is water flavouring with rose water! Just one or two tea spoons of rose water for cooking and flavouring are enough to transform in taste a simple 200 ml glass of water. And the result is improved hydration, increased metabolic activity and pure enjoyment of that mood-boosting fresh floral taste.
And why not going a step further, adding some fresh seasonal ingredients? We have prepared for you 3 variants for water flavouring which will help you make hydration easier, tastier and even more supportive for your body systems.
