Lavender milk
for good sleep

As humans, we spend 1/3 of our life in sleep. And while some think that it’s a waste of time, others of us believe that the good 8-hour sleep every night is key to being healthy, energetic and creative during the day. There are those evenings, however, in which sleep just doesn’t come, or we wake up with no evident reason in the middle of the night. Fortunately, we have a simple and absolutely harmless recipe to take us easily in the world of dreams. It is lavender tea, or the more exuberant version of it – lavender milk.
Try to prepare this aromatic hot drink some evening and, who knows, it might take you in your sleep in the middle of enchanting lavender fields blossoming side by side with the Bulgarian oil-bearing rose in the gentle hug of the Rose Valley in Bulgaria.
Lavender milk
Products
for 2 cups
400 ml milk of your choice
2 table spoons lavender tea
1 table spoon honey
½ vanilla pod or 1/8 tea spoon vanilla
Recipe:
- Put the milk, lavender tea and vanilla in a small pot.
- After it boils, strain through a fine strainer.
- Pour in cups and sweeten with honey.
- Drink the lavender milk hot before bedtime.
