A fragment of this cocktail puzzle came to light during our ‘Cooking with Roses’ workshop with some help from a professional.
In skilled professional hands
Nikolai Neikov easily sparks the light of the barman inside you with his easygoing and professional approach.
He had to use two must ingredients for creating his cocktail recipe – Rosey’s mark rose & strawberry jam and Hennessy Fine de Cognac. The end result is called Rose&Strawberry Hennessy Sour, a remarkable addition to the sour cocktails category list. What is best, you can prepare it yourselves at home thanks to Nikolai’s guidelines.
Rose&Strawberry Hennessy Sour
45 ml Hennessy Fine de Cognac
25 ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
10 ml simple sugar syrup (2:1)
1 tea spoon Rosey’s mark rose & strawberry jam
Shake roundly the ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice for 10-15 seconds. Filter in short glass chilled and filled with ice in advance. Decorate with lemon rind.
